You cannot place orders with us! When sales of a particular title increase dramatically on the previous year there may be a delay while more copies are printed. 	Household Electricity kit The Electricity kit contains a set of 6 lessons covering aspects of household electricity and safety designed for Level 5 or 6 Science. Each lesson includes overhead transparancy or data projector resources plus one or two worksheets. Answers and teaching notes are also provided. The original kit was given to schools in the MainPower distrubution zone, but a CD of the resources is now available for sale.

Language support for ESOL students

Learning doesn't have to be hard work

The CDs that accompany our Workbooks contain a large number of short computer activities designed to help students to learn the memory work for each course. The trick is to do the activity a few hours after the work has been taught in class -- before it's been forgotten. A few minutes is all it takes to shift that knowledge from short-term to long-term memory. Each CD also contains a set of quizzes that parallel the computer activities. Used in class the next day, these quizzes reinforce brain pathways as well as providing a convenient way for teachers to monitor student progress. As students work through the set of activities for each topic, they will also be presented with longer tasks that review material from the last week or two.

The computer activities and quizzes cover the basic facts, but students still need to complete the written theory tasks and practicals to fully master the work.
