Using the interactive exam files

Where the original exams had spaces for you to write your answers, these papers have typable form fields. Simply click in the box and start typing. Almost all fields accept formatted text ('rich text'), meaning that you can put in superscripts or subscripts and underline part of a calculation. Press Ctrl e to bring up the properties toolbar that makes it easy to change text styles.

Use the Comment and Markup Tools (which will appear in the Tools menu of Adobe Reader) to add circles, lines or diagrams on the paper as required.

Once the paper has been completed, click the Show Answers button to reveal the model answer to each question and the marking schedule. Enter your grade for each question (N, A, M or E). As you do so, the total number of each grade will appear in the box on the front of the paper, along with your overall score. Marking the paper is a valuable learning exercise as it helps you to understand what is required for each grade.
